The Special Needs Initiative for Growth and Kachem Young Initiative in partnership with American Corner Hosted at CcHUB, Handsmithen and The Project Enabled are inviting young women across the to register for their Second Cohort of the Socio-cultural and Economic Reawakening Virtual Convention in commemoration of the International Women’s Day taking place on the 8th of March 2021.

This is a Global Platform to increase and strengthen the access of women and girls to all levels and forms of education into political and public life, technology, entrepreneurship and career development. 

The program is aligned with the priority theme of the 65th session of the commission on the Status of Women, “Women’s full and effective participation and decision-making in public life, as well as the elimination of violence, for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls”, and the flagship Generation Equality campaign, which calls for women’s right to decision-making in all areas of life, equal pay, equal sharing of unpaid care and domestic work, an end to all forms of violence against women and girls, and health-care services that respond to their needs.
